Graveside services for Kathryn Marie Rogers, 73, of Chickasha, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Ninnekah Cemetery with Larry Hatfield officiating.

Kathryn Marie (Phillips) Rogers was born January 24, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Floyd Calvin Phillips and Blanche Marie (Graves) Phillips. She died Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Kathryn grew up in Chickasha and attended Chickasha Public Schools. She was a resident of Chickasha for many years. She had worked for Oklahoma Turnpike Authority on H.E. Bailey at the Chickasha location and at Humpty Dumpty Grocery Store before it was bought by Safeway.

On September 6, 1977, she married Tom Reeford Rogers in Carson City, Nevada. They were married almost 36 years, until Tom died in 2013.

Kathryn enjoyed going to garage sales and estate sales and sewing for her grandchildren. She attended the Church of Christ.

Her family was very important to her. She was a loving mom and grandma, always neutral and supportive to her family even when they goofed up. She never passed judgement and loved all of her family.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Tom, and her son, Billy Dale Malone.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Chris Danforth of Chickasha; daughter, Lisa Baxter of Chickasha; daughter, Kim Inlow and Gary Keef of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law, Reeford and Karen Rogers of Texas; son, Kenneth Rogers of Rush Springs; sister, Betty Newton of Chickasha; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
