Kathleen Grace (Skoglund) Sullivan, 75, of Chickasha was born on February 16, 1948 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Joseph and Margaret Skoglund. She passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, surrounded by her family.
Kathy was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Worcester and later studied Materials Management at Nichol’s College. She worked as an Inventory Control Supervisor at American Optical in Southbridge, Massachusetts for many years, which led to her relocation to Oklahoma in 2001, where she lived for the rest of her life.
She enjoyed candlepin bowling and was an AVID horseshoe pitcher and in 2000 she claimed the title of Women’s Massachusetts State Champ by the NHPA. She also won state doubles twice with her pitching partner, Pete.
Kathy loved a night out dancing with her friends, and while at home enjoyed watching football and basketball. She was a passionate fan of both professional and college football.
Loved ones left to remember her are her son Tim Sullivan of Chickasha; her daughters Gayle Tremblay of North Brookfield, Massachusetts and Joanne Sullivan of Chickasha; three grandsons Jerry Sullivan, Frank Tremblay, and Carter Tremblay; and brother Woodrow Skoglund of San Ramon, California.
The family may hold a memorial service in the future. The cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
