A Come & Go Celebration of Life for Juanita Fay Hendrix, 76, of Goldsby, will be held at Ferguson Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025. There will be viewing for Juanita at the Celebration as the family and friends take this time to share about her life.
Juanita Fay (Walker) Hendrix was born February 2, 1948, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Aldridge Glendon Walker and Effie Rose (Lyons) Walker. She passed from this life on Monday, December 30, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Juanita grew up in Chickasha as one of nine children. She worked at Pet Milk, Maremont, and owned a photography company, Gold Buckle Photography. She enjoyed bowling. She loved to listen to her brothers’ band and dancing to music. She played the accordion and played the piano in church.
She loved to spend time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She would travel to watch them play sports. As a big George Strait fan, she would take her grandchildren to see him in concert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sue Group and Hazel Rogers, and brothers Haril Walker and Sam Walker.
Loved ones left to remember her are her daughter Carla Busby of Tuttle; son Jeff Busby and wife Melissa of Washington; brothers Karil Walker, Roy Walker, and Jack Walker; sister Ellen Thomas; grandchildren Savana Hestand, Presley Stroh, McKinley Spencer, Ki Busby, Brenna Busby and Callie Christiansen; greatgrandchildren Tuff Sosa, Stetson Sosa, Xavi Torres, Tommy Hestand, and Coleman Dunn; and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
