Funeral services for Josephine Guerrero, 83, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 10 th , 2022 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lonnie Henderson officiating.
Josephine Guerrero was born September 14 th , 1938 in Lawton, Oklahoma the daughter of Amador Frank Torralba and Juanita Grey Mountain Torralba. She passed from this earth Monday, June 6 th , 2022 in Chickasha, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.
Josephine grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1956. During her time at Pioneer, she excelled in playing basketball. She married Alejandro Guerrero on June 6 th , 1958 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Josephine was a homemaker raised her children with love. Later in life her passion was being active in the FOE Auxiliary Eagles 4070 where she served many offices including the office of President. Where her and Alejandro traveled the state raising money for diabetes research. She was also a member of the Red Hat Ladies and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents and thirteen brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ray Foster of Chickasha; sons and daughters-in-laws, Alejandro Jr. and Michelle Guerrero of Chickasha, John Guerrero of Chickasha, Jesse and Tamera Guerrero of Chickasha, and Andrew and Sherry Guerrero of Chickasha; grandchildren Chad Foster of Chickasha, Kristi Foster and Beau Smith of Chickasha, Pamela and Joshua Jefferies of Chickasha, Candace Guerrero of Chickasha, Tylor Guerrero of Chickasha, Brittany and Dillion Ryans of Ninnekah, Marissa and Jeremy Ryburn of Mustang, Arreonna Guerrero of Chickasha, and Andrew Guerrero II of Chickasha; twelve great-great grandchildren; special niece Mary Jo Lee of Apache and many special nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home
