Funeral services for Jonathan Trae Lindly, 22, of Chickasha will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Brackeen officiating.
Jonathan Trae Lindly was born September 29, 1991 in Chickasha to Jonathan Lane Lindly and Christy Marie (Robnett) Callahan. He died May 2, 2014 in Chickasha.
Jonathan grew up in Chickasha, attended Chickasha High School, and graduated from Ninnekah High School. He attended Canadian Valley Technology Center and graduated with honors. While at CVTC, he was a Student Ambassador and a member of OK Skills USA. He served two years in the United States Army, and later worked for Joe’s Maytag.
He was a miracle the day he was born.
He brought so much love into everybody’s life that he touched.
He always had a smile on his face.
He made this world a better place even if it was for a little while.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and was greatly loved. He will be deeply missed by his mom, dad, brothers, sisters, as well other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather, Jimmy Allen and Hazel Coddington; grandfather, Duane Jonathan Lindly; and cousin, Tigh Douglas Murdock.
Survivors include his mother, Christy Callahan of Amber; father, Lane Lindly of Verden; step-father, Frank Callahan; brother and sister-in-law, Tyler and Abby Robnett of Cox City; brother, Chase Lindly of Chickasha; brothers Ethyn Callahan, Calvin Callahan, and James Callahan of Amber; sister, Latisha Callahan ; grandmother, Pauline Lindly; grandmother and grandfather, Barbara and Tim Wentland; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Interment is in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
