Graveside services for Johnny Conrad Hinson, 65, of Chickasha will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Fairlawn Cemetery with Gary Layman officiating.
Johnny Conrad Hinson was born October 3, 1954 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to James Farrel Hinson and Elsie Lee (Howard) Hinson. He died on July 31, 2020 in Chickasha, Oklahoma surrounded by his loved ones.
Johnny grew up in Chickasha, graduating from Chickasha High School in 1973. He then attended USAO majoring in Art and working at J&W Grill, where he learned how to make a mean onion burger.
After his marriage to his children’s mother, he worked at Clayton’s Grocery and then at Delta Faucet as a forklift driver. He then worked for the Salvation Army in Oklahoma City as a shuttle bus driver.
Johnny had been a member of Parkview Christian Church and New Life Christian Church. He gave his life to Christ at around 15 years old and was a religious man of faith and studied his Bible.
He was a simple man that enjoyed gardening. He enjoyed playing his guitar and loved art. Johnny was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren and he loved them deeply.
He was preceded in death by his father James Farrel Hinson.
Survivors include his mother, Elsie Hinson of Chickasha; son Willis Franklin Hinson and wife Misty of Mustang; daughter Merry Nichole Perdue and husband TJ of Chickasha; brothers Sam Hinson of Jones and James Hinson of Chickasha; seven grandchildren Zachary, Nicholas, John, Lillian, Payton, Nathan and Mattie; and other extended family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
