Funeral services for Jetta Mae Batch, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.
Jetta Mae (Jackson) Batch was born on August 3, 1929 in Anadarko, Oklahoma the daughter of Frances M. Jackson and Lottie Bell (Dorsey) Jackson. She died Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
On February 25, 1947, she married Cecil Callahan and they had four children, Kathy Ann Callahan, Rita Mae Callahan, Cecil Wayne Callahan and Mary Jane Callahan. They were married until his passing in 1960. She then married Jesse Gordon Batch in 1961 and they had a son, Douglas Gordon Batch.
Jetta was a longtime resident of Chickasha. She had worked at the high school cafeteria and then worked for Maremont, retiring after more than 18 years. She loved to crochet, making many things for her family.
She was preceded in death by both parents F.M. and Lottie Jackson; siblings Charles Jackson, Winford Jackson, Lloyd Jackson and Vera “Sis” Jackson; and son Douglas Gordon Batch.
Survivors include her children, Kathy and Larry Booth of Hugo, Rita and Duane Sheppard of Hugo, Cecil and Kathy Callahan of Chickasha, Mary and Charles “Chuck” Anderson of Blanchard; grandchildren, Bobby Martin, Dewayne Martin, Kenneth Booth, Andrea (Booth) Parks, Christie Ball, Eddie Ball, Geoffrey Callahan, Mandy Callahan, Michelle Castillo, Justin Anderson, Joshua Batch, LaDonna Liverar, and Kyle Batch; 24 great-grandchildren and numerous great great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Oklahoma under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
