Funeral Services for Jerry Scarbarough, 63, of Chickasha will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Alice Wendling officiating.

Jerry Scarbarough was born April 7, 1958 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Willard and Betty Scarbarough.  He passed away on December 16, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Jerry married the love of his life, Emma (Clouse) Scarbarough on September 20, 1977.  They shared many happy years together until her passing in May of 1999. He spent many years in the oilfield as a driller, during the oilboom years and he was a very good at it. One of his pastimes was being a skilled shade-tree mechanic.  From 2006 until 2012, Jerry worked as a granite installer and for an oil field pump company.  In March 2012 he began working for Midwest Towers until his passing. When he wasn’t working, he spent a lot of time socializing with friends and family. Anyone who knew him never forgot him. He was well liked and deeply loved throughout the community

Jerry is preceded in death by both parents, Willard and Betty Scarbarough, his wife Emma and his brother Paul Scarbarough.

Survivors include daughter Janeta Montalbo of Oklahoma City; granddaughter Tabatha Davidson of the home; granddaughters Rheanna and Gracie Montalbo of Chickasha; half-sister Linda Gable; two nieces Melisa Duncan and Laverna Scarbarough; seven dogs of the home, Prince, Jasper, Alice, Princess, Hippie and Vishy; many friends, extended family and coworkers.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
