A funeral service for Jenifer Marie Anderson, 41, of Mustang, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Jenifer Marie (Gebert) Anderson was born on January 21, 1984, in Lubbock, Texas to Riley Henry Gebert, Sr. and Dennie Pearl (Hartless) Gebert. She passed from this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in Mustang, Oklahoma.
Jenifer grew up in Slaton, Texas and graduated from Southland High School in 2003. During high school, she played basketball, was a cheerleader, and was the Eagle Mascot.
She worked for the Lubbock State School and absolutely loved working with those special-needs kids. She then moved to Mustang to be closer to her sisters and began working in the warehouse at Hobby Lobby, eventually becoming a fork-lift driver. This is where she met the love of her life, Jeremy Anderson, and on May 11, 2013, they were married.
She had the biggest heart and loved all people. However, most people probably didn’t know how tough she was. She dealt with a lot of physical pain the last few years and never complained. Jenifer was a die-hard Texas Tech Red Raider and OKC Thunder fan. She loved collecting frogs, was obsessed with Big Foot and loved The Grinch. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family and being with her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents.
Loved ones left to remember her are her husband Jeremy of the home; sister and brother-in-law Helen and Nelson Taylor of Mustang; brother and sister-in-law Riley Jr. and Mary Gebert of Slaton, Texas; sister and spouse Marsha Gebert and Deanna of Stillwater; mother-in-law Pamela Anderson of Chickasha; grandmother Lois Epke of Abernathy, Texas; grandparents-in-law Mickie and Don Henry of Chickasha; nieces and nephews, Jordan Carnes and husband Braxton, Payton Taylor, Lauren Taylor, Tyler Vanlandingham, Joseph Denison, and Weldon Gebert; best friend Brandy Clark; aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
There will be a viewing for Jenifer on Thursday, January 23 rd from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with family here to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
