Joyce Janelle (Booher) Fink, 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in Cleburne, TX with her family by her side. Born November 17, 1938, in Chickasha, OK to Harvey and Tempie Booher. She married William “Bill” Fink Jr. on December 7, 1957, in Chickasha, OK.
Janelle retired as an Administrative Secretary from Wall Regional Hospital after 20 years. She was also heavily involved with Camp Fire from 1976-1988 and truly loved her Camp Fire family.
Janelle is survived by her children, Brenda Hartman and husband Dale of Norman, OK, Billy Fink and wife Joetta of Burleson, TX, and Leslie Basham and husband Wade of Cleburne, TX. Grandchildren, Joshua Hartman and wife Hayley, Leah Bayliss and husband Brian, Kara Ward and husband Tommy, Brad Donaldson and wife Amber, Brittney Jernigan and husband Joel, Brandon Fink and girlfriend Calliope Burchfield, and adopted daughter of Leslie and Wade, Ashlyn Fraley. Great grandchildren, Kadence, Leland, Ember, Hayes, Maguire, Mason, Blake, Declan, Owen and baby Donaldson on the way. Brother, Loren “Buddy” Booher, and sisters-in-law, Nell Booher and Shirley Montgomery, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Janelle is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents, Harvey and Tempie, her brother, Donald Booher, sister in laws, Patsy White, Jean Wright, and brother in laws, Richard Montgomery and Leroy White. Pall bearers are her six grandchildren- Josh, Leah, Kara, Brad, Brittney, and Brandon.
A memorial service to honor the life of Janelle will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial of Janelle’s and Bill’s cremains will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
