Graveside services for Jan Anne Watts, 68, of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 in Anadarko Memory Lane Cemetery with Sister Alice Wendling officiating.
Jan Anne Watts was born December 9, 1945 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Jack and Pauline (Washburn) Carlton. She died Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Chickasha.
Jan married Edgar Watts on November 13, 1967 in Chickasha, and they had a son, Stanley “Wolf” Watts.
She grew up in Temple, Anadarko, and Binger. She attended school in Temple and Binger.
She was a volunteer at Bill Wallace Early Childhood Center for many years and she called the kids her grandchildren. She lived with her dog, Tito, and she would always save candy to send home with her great-grandson, Xandor, whom she referred to as her “baby.” She loved to aggravate her son, which was always a special thing between her and “Wolf.”
Jan was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Geneva Cinnquinee and Beth Duncan.
Survivors include her son, Stan “Wolf” Watts of Duncan; daughter-in-law, Deana Johnson; and her “adopted’ great-grandchildren, Madison, Xandor, and Skylar; niece, Debra Duncan; nephew, William Duncan; as well as extended family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
