A viewing for Jamie Lynn Organ, 42, of Chickasha, will be held at Ferguson Funeral Home on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Masks and social distancing are required.
Jamie Lynn Organ was born February 28, 1978 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to James Howard Organ and Linda Dale (Bell) Organ. He died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Jamie grew up in East Prairie, Missouri and graduated from high school in Elida, Ohio.
He moved to Chickasha in 2000 and worked at Walmart, moving up into management. He then followed his dream and became a lieutenant detention officer with the Grady County Law Enforcement Center.
Jamie loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and Metallica. He enjoyed motorcycles and collected aquarium fish of all kinds. He was a great man, a big, soft, teddy bear of a man that was an encyclopedia of useless information and trivia. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother Linda D. Organ.
Survivors include his father James H. Organ of Chickasha; brother Paul D. Organ of Chickasha; sister Dawni R. Martinez of South Korea; nieces and nephews Alicia J. Martinez of Chickasha, Joaquin A. Martinez of Alaska, Belinda E. Wood of Alaska, Tyler J. Organ of Texas, Staci L. Organ of Norman, and James G. Organ of Chickasha; goddaughter Adrian J. Martinez Hernandez of Chickasha; and many other extended family and friends.
Cremation arrangement are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home and at a later date his cremains will be buried in Dogwood Cemetery located near East Prairie, Missouri.
