Graveside services for Jack L. Moulton, Sr., 93, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Resthaven Memory Gardens located in Oklahoma City with Reverend Scott Keneda officiating.

Jack L. Moulton, Sr. was born on August 9, 1924 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Thomas Washington Moulton and Helen Jewel (Sanders) Moulton. He died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at his home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Jack grew up in Oklahoma City and enlisted in the United States Navy as a young man, serving in World War II. After his military service he had the opportunity to graduate from Capitol Hill High School in 1946.

He went on to become a plumber as was his father and further generations before him and was a plumbing contractor all of his life. He was a strong man and lived a long life.

On September 4, 1949, Jack married Rea Barnes and they were married over 56 years until her death in 2005.

He loved to fish and was a master woodworker. Loved ones can remember him making folding tables that he would give away to people and many pieces of furniture that he made throughout his lifetime.

Jack was preceded in death by both parents, his wife, Rea, and two brothers, Leon and Tommy Moulton.

Survivors include his son, Jack Moulton, Jr. and wife, Pam, of Oklahoma City; daughter, Karen Alexander of Tuttle; daughter, Sharon Brakebill of Connecticut; sister, Betty Sanger; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other extended family and friends.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
