Funeral services for Ina Marie Mink, 78, of Eucha, formerly of Cement, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at The Assembly in Cyril with Randy Cocheran officiating.
Ina Marie (Scott) Mink was born August 11, 1941 in Apache, Oklahoma, the daughter of Gilbert Franklin Scott and Letha Irene (Chance) Scott. She passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at her home in Eucha, Oklahoma.
Ina grew up around the Cement area. Her father was a park ranger at the Oklahoma City Zoo, so she grew up getting to play with exotic animals.
She let Hearl Lee Mink marry her on September 12, 1961 in Ephrata, Washington. She and Hearl got to travel because he was in the Air Force for 22 years. Ina worked as a cook at her kids’ school for many years and formed loving bonds with many of their friends.
After his retirement, they moved back to Cement. She went to work for Fort Sill Civil Service and retired from there on September 23,1994. They later moved to the Grand Lake area where they currently resided. She enjoyed watching her baby goats and loved her dog, Peanut.
Ina loved to see her kids and grandbabies. She has had three new great-grandbabies this year and there is one more on the way. She loved music and she and Hearl had a family band, Hearl and the Hill Country, for many years. Her kids were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Floyd “Sonny” Hill and a daughter Lisa Cox.
Survivors include her husband, Hearl Mink of the home; daughter Kelly Greene and husband Clark of Spavinaw and their children Justin, Kayla, Jesse, Madison and Emily; son Monty Mink and wife Dana of Cement and their children Haley, Heather and Hope; son Scott Mink and wife Beth of Dickinson, North Dakota and their children Brandon, Colby, and Jayden; son Stacey Mink of Eucha; step-son DeWayne Mink and wife Marty of Oklahoma City and their daughter Ashley; and Lisa’s sons Terry and Christopher; seventeen great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Cement Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
