Ida Nell White
Graveside services will be held for Ida Nell White, 82, of Chickasha at 2:00p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012, at Fairlawn Cemetery with Kim Hays officiating.
Ida Nell White was born in Conception Junction, Missouri, on July 1, 1930, the daughter of Robert Earl Ingram and Flotilla Brannen. She died on October 3, 2012 in Chickasha.
She moved to Stillwell as a child, attending Stillwell public schools. She worked at various jobs along the way while raising three sons, Leon, Bill, Rob and two daughters, Tsianina and Ayuneta. Ida married Donald W. White on March 1, 1961. This union brought one more daughter, Jodon Wynn. In 1974 the the couple made their home in Chickasha.
Ida worked at Gibsons, Grady County Sheriff Department, and Walmart. She retired from Walmart after 18 years. She has enjoyed retirement for the past six years.
Ida was called home at 11:00 a.m. on October 3, 2012 after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by: her mother and father, four sisters, Dolores, Doris, Grace, June, and one son-in-law, Eddy Wynn.
Survivors include: husband, Don White of Chickasha, three sons, Leon Glenn of Yukon, Bill and Jeannie Whitmire and Rob and Shelly Whitmire of Hinton, three daughters, Tsianina (Nina) and Cliff Bayne of Tuttle, Ayuneta (skeet) Ruark of Tuttle, and Jodon Wynn of Chickasha, sixteen grandkids, twenty six great grandkids and five great, great grandkids.
Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
