Glenda Faye (Baldwin) Pilgrim went to be with Jesus on August 27, 2019. She was born in Mesa, Arizona on October 27, 1936 to Jess and Mabel Baldwin, and her family moved to Colorado when she was a child. In 1955, she married Duane Lichliter and they had five wonderful children. She traveled extensively and lived for years in California, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Glenda worked as a foster mother and in-home caregiver for many years. She was a devoted Christian and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was also a gifted quilter and wonderful cook.
She is preceded in death by her son Brian; and siblings Weldon, Joe, Jack, Jess, Sue, Esther, Ethel, and Juanita.
Glenda is survived by her children, Lisa (Shane) Shelton, Tina, Joe (Licia) and James; grandsons Joshua, Hunter, Jacob, Gage, Collin and Caleb; and great-granddaughter Jacklyn. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Buck, Verna, Beverly, and Joan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a celebration of her life at 10 am on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at College Heights Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
