Gail Marie Donnellan of Chickasha, OK was born August 2, 1955 to Walter and Mae (Sample) Bradley in Framingham, MA and passed away May 5, 2021 at her home in Chickasha.
Gail grew up in Marlborough, MA. Graduating from Marlborough High School. She attended the University of Miami, to be near the ocean, graduated in three years with a BBA Degree in Accounting, and having met John “Jack” Donnellan. Jack and Gail were married on August 5, 1978 at Martha-Mary Chapel in Sudbury, MA before moving to Chickasha, OK.
She worked as an accountant and CFO, as well as volunteering in her community and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. She enjoyed helping others and giving her time to those in need. Spending time with family and friends around town, at the beach, in the mountains, or at the race track were special times in her life.
She was preceded in death by both parents, and brother Walter Bradley.
Left to cherish her memories include husband Jack, two children; Meghan and husband Ryan Nelson of Berthoud, CO and Ian Donnellan and wife Abigail Helms of Wallingford, PA; two grandchildren, Natalie Nelson and Evan Donnellan, brother John and wife Carol Bradley, sister Barbara and husband Peter Desbiens; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Extended family Anna and Manfred Aster and daughter Chrissi of Ehnigen, Germany. Special thanks to cousin Kay Sample in Gail’s time of need.
Funeral services will be held on Monday May 10, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Chickasha. Reception preceding the service in St. Luke’s Parish Hall from 12:30 to 1:15.
Cremation was Gail’s choice and is being conducted under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
