Funeral services will be held for Frank Albert Freed II, 34, of Pocasset at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012, at New Life Christian Church in Chickasha with Gene Hankins officiating.
Frank Albert Freed II was born on November 22, 1977, in Oklahoma City to Larry Freed, Sr. and Beatrice Humphrey Freed. He died on January 13, 2012, at home in Pocasset.
Frank grew up in Pocasset and attended Amber-Pocasset Public Schools. After high school he attended Rose State College for a short time. While there he was on the Dean’s Honor Roll. Frank has been a successful self-employed welder for many years.
He married Shelly Carter on March 16, 1997, in Chickasha. To this union their three children were born.
Frank loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time, but what he enjoyed the most was spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by: one brother, Adam Freed; grandfather, Frank Freed I; and grandmother, Daisy Harper.
Survivors include: wife, Shelly Freed of the home; daughter, Brittiney Freed; two sons, Frank Freed III and Dawson Freed; parents Larry Freed, Sr. and Beatrice Freed all of Pocasset; paternal grandmother, Ila J. Freed of Willis, TX; sister, Cassie Pruner and husband Jason; brother, Larry Freed, Jr.; nephew, James Pruner; and niece, Kaylee Pruner, all of Pocasset.
Interment will be in the Pocasset Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
