Graveside Services for Earl Anthony Fourniea, 82, of Ninnekah will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Laverty Cemetery.
Earl Anthony Fourniea was born February 3, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of John and Agnes Corcoran Fourniea. He died on December 8, 2013, at his home in Ninnekah, Oklahoma.
Earl grew up in Minnesota where he graduated high school. He joined the military and was stationed in Arizona and California. He attended the Pepperdine University in San Diego, California and graduated with a Master’s in Business Law.
He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Orange County, California for almost 30 years. He married Cynthia Patricia Nichols on September 29, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada and made Orange County their home for many years. After his retirement, they moved to Oklahoma and lived in the Ninnekah area.
Earl will be remembered for his love of motorcycles, guns and family. He will be greatly missed by all his family and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Cynthia Cowley; a sister, Catherine Fourniea; and a grandson, Michael Fourniea.
He is survived by; his wife of the home, Pat Fourniea; two daughters and their spouses, Linda and Doug Irwin of Arizona, and Eva and Bill Beautner of California; a son, John Fourniea of Arizona; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Harold and Joan Fourniea of Minnesota; sister, Irene Hoppe; sister Patty Peterson and her husband Allen.
Interment will be at Laverty Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
