Funeral services for Doris Eileen Foust, 68, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Billy Elkins officiating.
Doris Eileen (Hughes) Foust was born on June 6, 1949 in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Hardy Hughes and Bertha Isabelle (Newell) Hughes. She died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Doris grew up in the Enid, Dale, Chickasha, and Verden areas and attended school at Dale and Chickasha Public Schools.
In 1964, she married Dean Foust and they had five children together.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from USAO in 1992. Doris worked as a social worker with DHS, retiring after serving this community for many years. She was a great advocate for struggling families and also volunteered with the local Women’s Service Center.
Doris was a proud mother and grandmother. She was always helpful and sacrificial. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by both parents, son, James D. Foust, and brothers, Jerry Haskins and Billy Ray Henderson.
Survivors include son, Brian Keith Foust and wife, Crystal, of Springfield, Missouri; son, Vance Eugene Foust of Hominy; son, Joseph Christopher Foust and wife, Jamie, of Chickasha; daughter, Charity Lea Christina “Tooter” Morgan and husband, Stephen, of Chickasha; sisters, Vicky Neilson and Sharon Urioste; twenty-one grandchildren and their spouses, Joshua Foust, Janel and Joe Montano, Tyler Foust, Tanner Foust, Christian Pedraza, Danielle Foust, Aaron Foust, Ryan Foust, Miles Foust, Hannah Foust, Katelyn Foust, Ethan and Josie Foust, Devan and Scarlett Foust, Brittany Foust, Steven Kelley Doshier, Destinee Foust, Jaycee Foust, Ty Foust, Kylie Morgan, Lola Morgan, and Finley Morgan; seven great-grandchildren, Clara, Bennett, Jonah, Ava, Shiloh, and Brynlie; special friends, Frances Perkins and Sharon Newsom; her best companions, cats Thelma and Louise; and other extended family and friends.
Interment in Fairlawn Cemetery will be under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
