Funeral Services for Donna Rae Moody, 76, of Lindsay, will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Bob Ross and Matt Celoria officiating.

Donna Rae Moody was born August 10, 1937 in Tussy, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Rayford Stater LeBeau and Edna Marie (Cross) LeBeau. Donna died Thursday, December 5, 2013 in her home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.

Donna grew up in Fox, Oklahoma and attended East Central University after graduating from Fox High School.

She married R. Joe Moody on April 19, 1956 in Fox, Oklahoma and they made their home in Oklahoma City.

Donna spent most of her life as a homemaker, raising her children. She had at one time been employed at Tinker AFB and at the Stand Watie Elementary School cafeteria in Oklahoma City. The family came to Lindsay in 1977, where she was employed as a bus driver for the Senior Citizen Center and then as a bank teller at American Exchange Bank, where she retired in February 2013.

Some of her favorite things to do were shopping and cooking for large groups of family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and gardening. Donna was always active in her church, raising her children at the Penn Ave Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, then later at Calvary Baptist in Lindsay.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and her husband.

Donna is survived by: her five children and their spouses, Dennis and Kathy Moody of Bixby, Oklahoma, Janis and Ted Davis of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Alan and Darla Moody of Norman, Oklahoma, Anita and Eddie Charlson of Norman, Oklahoma, and Lara and Lendon Teague of Lindsay, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Jennifer Junkermeier of Glenpool, Megan Neal of Broken Arrow, Brian Davis of Lindsay, Christopher Davis of Plano, Texas, Hillary Shaw of Lindsay, Tyler Pabst, Hunter Moody and Stetson Martin of Norman, Caitlin and Savannah Charlson of Norman, Jordon Evans of Norman, Bailey and Dawson Fritz of Lindsay; two siblings and their spouses, Nell and Bill Head of Oklahoma City, and Vance and Susie LeBeau of Yukon; eight great-grandchildren, Aiden and Olivia Davis, Judah and Oliver Shaw, Garrison Neal, Jack and Lyla Junkermeier, and Dylan Pabst.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, December 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday, the 11 th from 9:00 am to 2:30 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay.
