Graveside Services for Donald Wayne Brinkley, 61, previously of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Donald Wayne Brinkley was born November 25, 1956, in Castro Valley, California to Howard Vernon Brinkley and Wilda Jean (Faurot) Brinkley. He died Thursday, September13, 2018, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Donald grew up in Fremont, California. He graduated from American High School around 1975.
After moving to Chickasha, he worked at Chickasha Mobile homes, working on mobile homes until he got sick. Donald has lived in Konawa, Oklahoma at Golden Years for the last 10 years.
Donald loved woodworking and was an excellent fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Harvey and Minnie Lee Brinkley and Alva and Pearl Faurot; nephew, John Brinkley; and aunts and uncles.
Survivors include, brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Denise Brinkley of Chandler, Arizona, and Phil and Debbie Brinkley of Muskogee; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Rick Baierl of Bixby; nieces and nephews, Kris, Jeremy, Laura, Isaiah, Matthew, Heidi, Chad, and Shawn; numerous great-nephews and nieces; his friends at Golden Years; and other extended family.
Viewing for Donald will be Wednesday, September 19th, from 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home.
