Funeral services for Denny Lee Trammell, 72, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Denny Lee Trammell was born May 3, 1948 in Perry, Oklahoma to Lee Roy Trammell and Dorothy Helen (Jones) Trammell. He died on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Norman, Oklahoma.

Denny graduated from Chickasha High School where he played golf. In 1967, he joined the United States Army and served in Vietnam.

On October 24, 1970, he married Dolores G. Goodfellow and they had 38 years together until Dolores passed in 2008.

Denny worked for over 20 years as a machinist with Baity Screw Machine until he retired.

He enjoyed golf, tinkering and carpentry. Denny was a hard worker and loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife; father Lee Roy Trammell; mother Dorothy Trammell Franklin and step-father Ottis Lee Franklin; brothers Darrell Trammell, David Trammell and Daniel Trammell; sister Virginia Haner; step-sister Valerie Franklin; and brother-in-law Randy Goodfellow.

Survivors include his children Dorlisa Brown and husband Jeff of Del City; Devlynn Davis and husband Russell of Chickasha; son Dennis Trammell and wife Amber of Chickasha; grandchildren Hayley Davis, Duncan Davis and Caleb Trammell, all of Chickasha; brothers Donald “Blue” Trammell and wife Mary of Chickasha; Douglas Trammell and wife Cheryl of Rush Springs; sisters Dorothy Diana Miller and husband Davey of Rush Springs; Christina Leeann Williams and husband Scottie of Marlow; sisters-in-law Tammie Trammell and Cathy Tammell Auld; step-brother Terry Franklin and step-sister Claudette Hosapple; he shared his recent years with his love, Rosie Vestle; mother-in-law Dorothy Garrett; and other extended family and friends.

Interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery located in Lindsay, Oklahoma under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
