The family of Deborah Sue Morris, 71, of Chickasha, will hold private memorial services.
Deborah Sue Morris was born December 14, 1953 in Norman, Oklahoma to Henry James Imhoff and Patricia Anne (Collins) Imhoff. She passed from this life on December 23, 2024 at her home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Debi grew up in Norman and graduated from Norman High in 1971. She later attended USAO and took classes in photography.
Debi married John Michael Morris and they raised three children together, James, Michael Scott, and Krystle. They moved to Chickasha in 1989.
Then in 1995, she met and spent her life with Richard Norton.
She worked for the McDonald’s on the turnpike as a shift manager for over 20 years, until retiring in 2020 due to health problems.
Debi loved horses and her cats. She was very outgoing and loved to tell stories. Through her children, she met and took care of many boys that were welcomed into her life. She enjoyed getting online and watching TV.
She was preceded in death by both parents, brother Daniel Lee Imhoff, and daughter Krystle Morris.
Loved ones left to remember her are her sons James Paul Morris of Chickasha and Michael Scott Morris and wife Rusty Nicole Morris of Chickasha; brother Nathan Ray Imhoff of Norman; sister Donna Jeane Fox of Norman; grandchildren Jamylyn, Krystle, Jerin, John, Jamie, and Tyler; nieces and other extended family and friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
