Memorial services for Dean Eric Bayne, 56, of Chickasha will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.
Dean Eric Bayne was born weighing 11 lbs. 13 oz. on October 1, 1961 in Oceanside, California, near San Diego, to Billy Augusta Bayne and Lois Donna (Riese) Bayne. He died October 16, 2017 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Dean was raised in California and Arizona and at one time lived in Fresno, California. He was in the United States Army from 1980 to 1984 and served his country well.
On November 30, 1988, Dean married Diane Katra in Yuma, Arizona. They were married almost 29 years.
As a machinist, he was a master of all trades and loved to help people no matter what. He was an avid hunter in his earlier years, and never lost the love. He fished and fixed cars, helping everyone who needed their car fixed for a payment of a twelve pack of beer. His favorite thing was OU football, everything was OU and Texas Hold’em! Dean belonged to the Eagles Lodge since 2000, and he had been a Past Worthy President.
Dean was preceded in death by both his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Diane, of the home; daughter, TeKay Katra and spouse, James Dennis, of Chickasha; son, Stanley Bayne of Chickasha; daughter, Sophia Bayne and boyfriend, Nathan Dover, of Purcell; siblings, William and Candace Bayne of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, Clifford Bayne of Ninnekah, and Kimberly and Chris Sanchez, of Tucson, Arizona; grandson, Riley Kane Callaway-Bayne; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
