A private memorial service for David Wayne Langle, 66, of Chickasha, will be held at a later date by the family.
David Wayne Langle was born on December 2, 1953 in Elkhart, Indiana to Donald Wayne Langle and Betty June (Helfrich) Langle. He died on Saturday, April 11, 2020 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
David grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1973, where he had enjoyed playing in the theater band.
He then served in the United States Army from May of 1973 until November 1976.
David was an industrial machine mechanic with various manufacturing companies over the years.
On October 10, 1986 he married Marcy L. Doncaster in Elkhart and they had over 33 years together.
He was a life-time member of the NRA and the Harley Owners Group. David took many trips on his motorcycle with his wife and friends and he loved to be out on the water. He was self-taught on the computer and in programming. He was also a fantastic cook and baker, with his specialty being bread and he enjoyed spending time with his close friends.
David was preceded in death by his father Donald Wayne Langle and his
stepfather Kenneth Kegerreis.
Survivors include his wife Marcy (Doncaster) Langle of the home; daughter Jessica Langle of Colorado Springs, Colorado; mother Betty J. Kegerreis of Elkhart, Indiana; stepsisters, Karen Hayden and husband Randy of Muncie, Indiana and Janet Fitzgerald and husband Jim of Georgia; three nephews Kevin Hayden, Jimmy Fitzgerald and Kevin Fitzgerald; mother-in-law Glenna Herdman; brother-in-law Bob Doncaster; and other extended family.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution to your favorite charity.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
