Funeral services will be held for Daniel Wayne Watson, 42, of Amber, Oklahoma, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012, in the First Baptist Church of Amber with Jon Judd officiating.

Danny was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on October 31, 1969, the son of Jay Wayne Watson and Patricia Ann Smith Allen.  He died on Sunday, August 26, 2012, in Grady County.

Danny grew up in the Ft. Worth area and moved to the Chickasha area in the late 1990’s to help care for his ailing mother.

Danny married Latrisha Brewer on March 25, 2006 in Tuttle, Oklahoma and it didn’t take him long to capture the hearts of his extended family.

Danny worked at Midwest Towers, Inc. for 14 years and was a supervisor in the Fiberglass department.

Danny enjoyed fishing, barbequing, spending time at the lake, and riding rhinos with the guys.  Danny was an avid sports fan and loved watching his kids play sports.  He was excited about coaching his son Cody’s upcoming football season.  Danny was always a people person, he loved spending time with family and friends, and he never met a stranger.  He was very caring and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by:  both parents.

Survivors include:  wife, Latrisha Watson; two sons, Cody Wayne and Chase Watson; a daughter, Callie Watson, all of Amber, Oklahoma; two step-children, Allie Bray and Scott Lee of Chickasha; two sisters, Lisa Heimbuck of Texas City, Texas, and Pam Ault of Huntsville, Texas; one brother, Darryl Watson and wife Amber of Ninnekah; several loving nieces and nephews and a lot of good friends.

Interment will be in the Amber Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
