Graveside services for Dalifen Huffines, 94, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Fairlawn Cemetery with Robin Palesano officiating.

Dalifen C. Huffines was born on August 15, 1926 in Cement, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joe Galindo and Felipa (Romo) Galindo. She died on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She grew up and attended Anadarko schools.

On April 5, 1947, she married Homer Huffines in Chickasha, Oklahoma and he passed away in October of 1964.

Dalifen was a member of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church. She was a homemaker most of her life and later managed and owned her own rental properties. She was also the janitorial supervisor for Epworth Methodist Church for many years.

She loved being outside, gardening and tending to her yard. Dalifen loved helping people. She had large pecan trees in her yard that she enjoyed and would gather the pecans, crack and shell them and give them away.

She was preceded in death by both parents, husband Homer, brother Tony Galindo, sisters Vera Botello and Lala Gomez.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Ron and Kathy Huffines of Moore; son Allen Huffines of Chickasha; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Lynn Wolfe of Alex; two sisters Carolyn Gregory of Gadsden, Alabama and O’dell Jourdan of Corinth, Texas; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

There will be no viewing.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
