A Come and Go Celebration of Life will be held for Dale Thomas Krieger, 73, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Ferguson Funeral Home, 804 W. Utah Ave., Chickasha, OK 73018.

Dale Thomas Krieger was born September 11, 1951, in Bismarck, North Dakota and raised by his stepfather Sylvester Weyer and mother Lois (Sabins) Weyer. He passed from this life on February 28, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Dale graduated high school in 1969 from Baker High School in Montana. He then went back to North Dakota to attend Bismarck Junior College on a full ride scholarship for Cross Country. He graduated college with a degree to teach history and landed his first teaching job in Montana. He later moved to Oklahoma to work in the oil field with his stepfather, Sylvester.

On April 21, 1984, he married Pamela Jean Mackey, and they shared 21 years together. He and Pam owned the skating rink for several years. Dale was passionate about supporting the kids in the community who came to the skating rink. He often opened his home and heart for those who needed help, he and Pam were similar in that way. They both created a family out of community and were well known for this. After they sold the skating rink, he began working for Renzenberger Inc. transporting crews and teaching driving safety for the railroad. He enjoyed being on the road and socializing with the crews. He worked at Renzenberger up until he retired.

Dale loved baseball and was notorious for always wearing an Atlanta Braves or Texas Rangers hat. He made a hobby out of collecting baseball cards, playing baseball strategy games, and watching the games on TV. He loved sports, in general, and was his daughters' biggest fan. He loved to attend all of their events and express how proud he was afterwards. He was also very proud of his own accomplishments in cross country and kept a collection of his ribbons, medals, and newspaper clippings. He beat and set many record times in both high school and college.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Pamela Jean Krieger in 2005, and in-laws Charles and Gayle Mackey.

Loved ones left to remember him are his daughters Sara Ramsey and husband Nathan of Chickasha, Karyn Kirksey and husband CJ of Oklahoma City, and Kelsie Eliza Garcia and husband Chris of Abilene, Texas; granddaughters Eliza Wren Garcia of Abilene, Texas and Raylee Ramsey of Chickasha; grandsons Conner and Kailenn Lange of Chickasha; sister-in-law Cheryl Hartsell and husband Hank of Edmond; brothers-in-law Chris Mackey and partner Holly of Ohio and Steven P.
