Cynthia Jean (Johnson) Cobb was born October 21, 1960 in Honey Grove, Texas to J.T. Johnson and Margie Lee (Scott) Johnson. She passed from this life and went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 5, 2022 at her home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Cynthia, known as “Tooty” to family and friends, spent her early years in Midwest City then the family moved to the Chickasha area. Her mother died at a young age and her step-mother, Judith Ann Johnson, raised their blended family together with lots of love. She attended Pioneer school and graduated from Verden High School in 1978, having received her cosmetology license from the Vo-tech.
On August 29, 1979, she married the love of her life George Michael Cobb and they had just celebrated their 43 rd anniversary. They made their home in the Friend area.
Cynthia worked in the office of Hermetic Switch for many years then took six years off to help with her grandchildren. She worked as the office manager for Medallion Mint. Her home church was Laverty Baptist Church.
She enjoyed caring for and riding her horses and feeding hummingbirds. She loved traveling and joining George as he crossed the country driving the semi. Cynthia loved dinner dates with her husband and put lots of love into his lunches that he took on the road with him. She was the best “MeMe” to her granddaughters and they were the center of her joy. She would call or text them about everyday asking them about school or how their day went or she would hangout with them on FaceTime and she loved spending the weekends with them. She was dearly loved and will deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by all of her mother Margie Lee Johnson, step-mother Judith Ann Johnson, father J.T. Johnson and a brother Terry J. Johnson.
