Funeral services for Cynthia “Cindi” Branstetter, age 53, a resident of Albuquerque for 25 years, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 in the Cyril Baptist Church with Don Crittendon officiating.
Cindi was born February 5, 1965 in Kansas and was raised in Midwest City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charlie Thomas and Sue Baker. She died Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She met Eric in Marlow, Oklahoma and they were married in 1989. They moved to Albuquerque for work and she devoted her life to raising their children. Cindi was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church and was very involved in the Southern Baptist Women’s Missions Union until her health prevented her from doing so. She was an avid reader.
She was like an angel, very outgoing and pleasant to be around. Cindi loved her Lord Jesus Christ, her family and everyone around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Cindi was preceded in death by her daughter, Rachel, in 1993.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Eric; children, Adam Branstetter, Trey Baker and wife, Ronelle, and Dalton Branstetter; five grandchildren; parents, Charlie Thomas and Sue Baker; brother, Robert Thomas and wife, Amanda; niece, Josie Thomas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in Celestial Gardens Cemetery, Cyril, Oklahoma under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
