The family of Connie Lynn Painter, 60, of Chickasha, will hold a private memorial at a later date.
Connie Lynn Ashby was born June 18, 1962, to W.R. and Ruth Ashby in Ada, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of the family joining sisters Sherry Ruth and La’Quita Vaughn. She passed from this life June 14, 2023 in Norman, Oklahoma.
Connie was an avid animal lover, but more importantly she loved her family beyond words. She had four daughters, whom she gave her all for, however her grandchildren and great-granddaughter were her world. Connie was loved by many and it was difficult to not love her with her amazing personality and ability to be a comfort for one in need. She gave her all to everyone she loved and she left behind many friends with so many wonderful memories.
She married Donald Painter in 2018 and they were married for five years.
Connie was preceded in death by both her parents, her sister Sherry Stringfellow, her daughters Amber Dawn Keeling and Celeste Alaryce Keeling, and her friend Charles Williams, along with many others.
Loved ones left to remember her are her daughters Malacha Nunley and Desiree Keeling; six granddaughters Tiarah Nunley, Telirah Childers, Heavun Nunley, Electra Thornburg, Ma’Haylie Nunley, and Brooklynn Thornburg.
Connie will be missed and there are no words to establish how much of an impact she had on this earth. She was loving, caring, dependable, and a wonderful person. Those who knew her are so fortunate and more capable of love themselves. To say she was perfect is an understatement.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
