Funeral services for Christopher Todd Williams, 47, of Alex, will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at Alex Southern Baptist Chapel with Pastor Tim Carr officiating.
Christopher Todd Williams was born February 1, 1970 in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of Richard Randolph Williams and Karen Lee (Wagner) Scott. He died Monday, May 22, 2017 near Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Chris grew up in Lawton and graduated from MacArthur High School. He moved to Forney, Texas for a time and came back to Oklahoma in 2003.
He worked as a machinist and became a licensed machinist while working for Haliburton for many years. He was presently working for Alex Public Schools in maintenance, performing bus safety checks, and many other jobs. He attended Alex Southern Baptist Chapel, where he drove a bus and was very active in the church.
Chris was very good mechanically and a handy guy, a jack of all trades. He had a special bond with his grandfather, Alton Wagner, and had learned a lot from him. He recently started gardening. Chris always had an ornery nature. He will be deeply missed by his family, his many friends at the school, and by his church family.
He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, his sister, Caitlin Clarice Marie Williams, and his step-father, Don Scott.
Survivors are his daughters, Kristin and Ashley Williams of Weatherford; son, Tony Williams of Alex; mother, Karen Scott of Alex; father, Richard Williams and wife, Gay, of Oklahoma City; sister and nephew, Rachel and Jordan Williams of Plano, Texas; and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Temple Cemetery in Temple, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
