Cathy June Dixon

A memorial service for Cathy June Dixon, 66, of Ninnekah, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in the Ferguson Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Woods officiating.

Cathy June (Cadell) Dixon was born August 10, 1958 in Duncan, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Floyd Wayne Cadell and Roberta Mae (Rodgers) Eskew. Cathy passed from this life on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at her home in Ninnekah, surrounded by her family.

Cathy grew up in the Duncan and Bray areas and attended schools there. She went to cosmetology school and opened her own shop in Duncan for a time.

On January 8, 1982, she married Jody Crotts Dixon and from this union her three sons were born. She stayed at home and raised her boys and worked a bit cutting hair.

Later she worked at a family ran business, Jackson Manufacturing, as a painter. She loved to collect rocks and antiques. Cathy was very creative and used her artistic skills to paint, make detailed clay figurines, and most recently to make whistles for children. She was loving and very caring. She was selfless and would give up her time to help someone else. She was a great cook and baker and would make all her loved one’s birthday cakes. She deeply loved her family and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her son Jordan Wade Dixon and her father Floyd Wayne Cadell.

Loved ones left to remember her are her son Tyler Drew Dixon and wife Jennifer of Chickasha; son Houston James Dixon of Chickasha; mother Roberta Mae Eskew and husband Coy of Chickasha; sisters Cindy Beggs and husband Gary, Beverly White and husband Greg and Rita LaPointe; brother Rodney Cadell and wife Suzanne; grandchildren Kylee Dixon, Baylee Dixon, Haley Mills and husband James, and Nathon Dixon; and other extended family and friends.

The service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
