A funeral service for Carolyn Kay Trammel, 82, of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Ohl officiating.
Carolyn Kay (Davis) Trammel was born on January 3, 1941 to Virgil Cecil Davis and Fanny Mae (Baker) Davis. She passed from this life on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Her father was in construction and the family was raised throughout many different states. Carolyn Kay married Raymond Trammel in 1986 and they lived in Tuttle, Oklahoma.
She opened Carolyn Kay’s Flowers in the early 1990’s, serving the Chickasha community for over 30 years. She had a passion for her flowers and enjoyed making people happy through her flower arrangements. She loved her husband and her children and had a great love for her animals, taking her dogs with her every day to the shop.
She was preceded in death by both parents.
Loved ones left to remember her are her husband, Ray Trammel of the home; her children Richard Cochran of Chickasha and Machelle DeStefano of Texas; sister Pamela Thorpe of Fairview and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
