Brenda Diane (Hare) Newberry was born September 26, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Burness Edward Hare and Lorene Louise (Darragh) Hare. She passed from this life on Monday, March 18, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Brenda grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1970.
She spent more than 30 years working with titles and escrow for abstract companies where she was a hard worker and dedicated employee. She considered her co-workers at Oklahoma City Abstract her family.
Brenda loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sitting by the pool and getting a tan. She was an awesome cook; everyone loved her chicken and dumplings and scalloped potatoes. She also adored her dogs Shay and Minnie very much!
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Loved ones left to remember her are her daughter and son-in-law Amy and Jerry Ray Osborn of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law Justin and Rebecca Kinslow of Chickasha; grandsons J.J. Osborn and Austin Kinslow of Chickasha; sister Linda Pope of Chandler, Arizona; nephew and niece Hunter and Niki Pope of Chandler, Arizona; cousin Reford Burroughs and wife Marsha of Wewoka; and other extended family and friends.
A private memorial service for Brenda Diane Newberry, 71, of Edmond, will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
