Funeral services for Betty June Brown, 83, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Kim Hayes officiating.
Betty June (Hunter) Brown was born on October 1, 1934 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Barnie Paul Hunter and Helen Faye (Campbell) Hunter. She died Saturday, November 18, 2017 surrounded by her family in Cement, Oklahoma.
Betty grew up in Chickasha and attended Chickasha Public School and went to the Vo-tech.
On November 6, 1970, she married Bill Don Brown in Texas. They were married 22 years, until his death.
She worked for Denver Talley Pest Control for 17 years and enjoyed it so much. Betty loved being around her children and grandchildren. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Betty was preceded in death by both parents, husband, Bill, and brother, Joe Ed Hunter.
Survivors include one sister, Barnia May Burton of Ninnekah; son, Paul Sellman of Cement; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Steve Keenan of Cement; son Gary Sellman of Helena; daughter, Sue Fogle of Ninnekah; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jim and Mandi Woods, Jennifer and Evan Ellenburg, Billy and Jennifer Brooks, Joshua Sellman, and Toshua Sellman; 11 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild and other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the service until just before service time.
Interment will be held in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
