Funeral services for Beatrice “Bea” Marcella (Press) Anthony, 74, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 in the Grand Assembly of God Church located at 102 E. Almar Drive in Chickasha with Pastor Gary Rogers officiating.
Beatrice “Bea” Marcella (Press) Anthony was born on December 11, 1943 in Hutchinson, Texas, the daughter of biological father, Lewis Robert Press and Wilma Gladys (Watkins) Johnston and Elton Ray Johnston. She died Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Bea grew up in Borger, Texas and graduated from Borger High School.
She met and married Emmet Lee Taylor for a short time and to this union she had two beautiful daughters, Brenda and LeAnn. They divorced shortly after Vietnam came to an end. Then Bea met the love of her life, Darrell Clifton and the family moved to Moore, where Darrell drove over the road for LeeWay Motor Freight and Bea worked as a business manager in admitting for Hillcrest Hospital from 1971 to 1997.
She enjoyed camping and fishing and playing bingo. She was also an avid OU Sooner and OKC Thunder fan. Bea and Darrell also enjoyed spending time in their garden and spending time with their grandchildren. She was a member of Grand Assembly of God Church and loved to attend and fellowship with her church family.
She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Darrell Clifton; husband, Mike Anthony; and a brother Bud Press.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Ken Parks of Comanche; daughter, LeAnn Williams and fiancé, Joe Spradlin, of Mustang; grandchildren, Danielle Fordenbacher and husband Jake, Brandon Wisda, Cole Williams, Payton Williams, Gage Dowdle, Autum Nichols and husband Nathan, Kendal Parks, and Eric Parks; best friend, Barbara Trautwein; nine great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
