Funeral services for Arnold Alfred Adams III, 18, of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Hogue officiating and Lewis Cox assisting.
Arnold Alfred Adams III, known as Trey, was born December 26, 2000 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Arnold Alfred Adams, Jr. and Casper Latisha (Blalock) Goforth. He died Monday, January 28, 2019 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Trey grew up in Alex and attended Alex Schools. He played football for Alex and later also played for Chickasha when he attended school there.
He was a fun-loving guy, always a happy go-lucky person with a smile that was contagious. Trey was a sharp dresser, he liked to look good and to smell good. He was respectful, kindhearted, and was very committed to his family, loving them deeply. He had a baby on the way and was looking forward to going back to work in the oilfield.
Trey was preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Blalock; aunt, Laura Reeves; cousin, Albert Adams; great-grandpa, Shirley Kendall Adams and great-grandma, Belva Jean Adams; great-grandmother, Retha Compton; and several great-aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his father, Arnold Alfred Adams, Jr. of Chickasha; mother and step-father, Casper and Gary Goforth of Chickasha; big sister, Bailee Michelle Bronson of Yukon; little brother, Mason Dixon Adams of Chickasha; fiancée, Rachel Simons of Blanchard and their unborn baby; grandpa and grandma, Arnold Adams, Sr. and Paula Adams of Coalgate; aunts and uncles, Amy and Daniel Blackburn, Angie and Kevin Faulkner, Cena and James Parker, and Lacy Barrett; many cousins and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Alex Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
