Anneice Swagerty was born in Fletcher, Oklahoma on March 14, 1920.  She died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Grace Living Center on February 25, 2014 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

She was the daughter of Benjamin and Vashti Biggs, the ninth of their ten children.

She was married to James Swagerty in Fletcher on August 16, 1938.  Together, they had two daughters.

Anneice was a homemaker, a wonderful cook, famous for her delicious pies and cakes.  She was also an accomplished seamstress who could create and sew any dress or mens suit just by looking at a picture.  She proudly sewed both her daughters’ wedding dresses.

She loved quilting and spent untold hours at the First Christian Church quilting with “The Quilting Ladies”.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents and all her brothers and sisters with the exception on one brother, Boyd Biggs, of San Marcos, Texas.

Her survivors include both her daughters, Judy Parrish of Chickasha and Debbie Greiner, Oklahoma City along with her son-in-law, Dave Greiner.  Grand children include Chad Roden of Oklahoma City, Tiffanie Myers Dunlevy along with grandson-in-law Cotton Dunlevy of Oklahoma City, and Chance Myers, along with granddaughter-in-law, Cheryl, of Anadarko.  Great grandchildren include Hunter Myers, El Reno, Macall Myers of Anadarko and Jude and Maycee Dunlevy of Oklahoma City.

Viewing will held Thursday, February 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home, 804 Utah Ave, Chickasha, OK.

Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Cyril, Oklahoma, Friday, February 28 at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in the Fletcher Cemetery, in Fletcher, Oklahoma under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the Quilting Ladies at the First Christian Church, 216 Main St., Cyril, Oklahoma 73029.
